Three held on rape charges

Police on Thursday arrested three people for their alleged involvement in separate rape incidents in Chitwan and Bardiya districts.

Chitwan police arrested Ramraj Khanal, 25, of Jutpani and Mahesh Kumal, 32, of Kawasoti in Nawalparasi on separate rape charge s.

Similarly, Mahesh Tharu, 24, of Dhadhawar-3 was held on the charge of raping a local girl in Bardiya district. All three rape victims are below 13 years of age.
