PROSPERITY NOT POSSIBLE WITHOUT DEMOCRACY: KOIRALA
Nepali Congress President Sushil Koirala has said prosperity was possible only in democracy.
Laying the foundation stone of a new building of Naturopathy Hospital at Rajahar of Nawalparasi district today, Congress President Koirala said democracy and prosperity would go hand in hand and that's why prosperity was not possible without democracy.
One Gauri Devi Pradhan of Chitwan is going to construct the building in her own investment of about Rs. 10 million in memory of her late spouse.
The nation would see prosperity with the development of agriculture and water resources, Koirala said.
The Congress President did not talk about any political matters. He praised Pradhan and her family for such a generous contribution.
UCPN (Maoist) leader Dhan Prasad Sapkota, NC Nawalparasi district president Devendra Raj Kandel, former CA member Mahendra Dhwoj GC, Hospital Chairman Hemraj Koirala and doctor Krishna Neupane also put their views at the programme.
