Bus plunges into Karnali River, 6 killed
Six persons were killed and over dozen injured when a passenger bus plunged into the Karnali River on Wednesday morning.The night bus (Na 3 Kha 4738) heading for Surkhet from Rakam karnali skidded off the road and fell some 100 meters down the road into the Karnali River at Siyala in Nepa VDC of Dailekh district along the Karnali Highway this morning.
The ill-feted bus had over 40 passengers. The identification of the deceased is yet to be ascertained.
Meanwhile, a police team from the district has been deployed in the area for the rescue operation.
