Nepali woman raped, murdered in England
A Nepali woman was found murder ed after being raped in Reading, England on Monday.
Forty-year-old Krishna Maya Mabo, a permanent resident of Tharpu-6 in Panchthar district, had gone missing since the morning of June 3. Her body was found at a field in Robin Hood Copse between Castle Hill and Eversley Road at about 1pm local time on the same day. The body was found during a major search involving a police helicopter and dogs.
Mabo's husband Thaluman Mabo said that initial reports had shown that Mabo was murder ed after rape. Thaluman, a retired British Army soldier, now works in the Military Provost Guard Service (MPGS) of the British Army. Mabo was residing in Reading since 2000 and is survived by a son and two daughters.
Her body has been kept at Royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading for post-mortem.
Police has arrested a 30-year-old man on suspicion of murder .
