Haque's own daughter arrested over murder
Two persons have been arrested by police on the charge of murdering Sadrul Miya Haque , a member of the dissolved Constituent Assembly (CA).
The arrestees have been identified as Haque's own daughter Rabeda and one Abdul Rauf.
"As per preliminary investigation, we had suspected that family dispute might have led to the murder," Deputy Inspector General of police Parshuram Khatri said.
A team of the Central Investigation Bureau arrested them from one of the villages in Saptari on Thursday.
It has been reported that Rabeda and Abdul had a close relation from a long time. Meanwhile, further investigation is underway.
"Other involved in the murder have been hiding in India", according to police sources.
Haque, who was elected CA member from Constituency No 5 in Saptari district as an independent candidate, was found murdered in a room at his petrol pump in Kalyanpur-2 on May 21.
